
Lawyer António de Macedo Vitorino has resigned as chairman of TAP’s General Assembly for personal reasons, according to a statement sent today by the airline to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CMVM).
“By letter addressed to TAP, received on February 20, 2023, Mr. António de Macedo Vitorino submitted his resignation as chairman of the board of TAP’s General Assembly, for personal reasons, effective March 31, 2023,” the statement said.
According to the company, a new person will have to be appointed to the position, “which will be the subject of information to the market and the public in general as soon as it succeeds.
António de Macedo Vitorino, founder and partner of Macedo Vitorino law firm, has been providing legal support in several areas for more than 20 years, having worked on several local and cross-border acquisitions, international investments, financing agreements, IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) and corporate restructurings, according to his Linkedin page.
